Where to get help

What to include

Most support requests are delayed by missing detail. Include these and problems are usually resolved on the first reply:

• Your Minecraft username.
• Your client version.
• The exact error message, copied as text rather than a photo.
• When the problem started, and whether it changed recently.
• A screenshot or clip, if the issue is visual.
• For store issues: the order reference and transaction date.

Connection problems

If you cannot join, read the connection troubleshooting guide before opening a ticket. It covers the wrong address, a port added by mistake, stale saved entries, version mismatches and account errors - which together account for almost every failed connection.

Ban appeals

Appeals go through the appeals channel in the official Discord only. Include:

• Your Minecraft username.
• The date of the ban and the reason you were given.
• A short honest explanation of what happened.
• Any relevant screenshots or clips.

Appeals are handled by staff in the official Discord. Anyone offering to unban you over DMs or for a fee is running a scam.

Reporting a bug

Reproducible technical problems are genuinely useful to the team. A good report includes the steps to reproduce it, what you expected to happen, what happened instead, and whether it is consistent every time. Exploit and dupe reports should go straight to staff rather than public channels.

Recognising a scam

• Nobody from Unstable SMP will ask for your Minecraft password, Microsoft account password, or authentication tokens.
• Nobody can lift a ban over DMs. Appeals are handled in the official Discord only.
• Checkouts on any domain other than /store-info/ are not the official store.
• There is no official Discord server other than https://discord.gg/unstable-network.
• Any server address other than unstablesmp.io is not Unstable SMP.
